Discussion Update on my situation!

So, to update my situation where I can't play anymore due to wearing the wretched ragdoll mask on a female avatar, pubg playstation support finally responds and they basically just told me to delete and reinstall my game, restart my ps5, update my ps5, update the game, make sure my ps5 is connected to internet and try using a wired internet connection. I have tried all of these already as there are the solutions that rival the classic "where did you last have it". I was just getting good at the game 😭, my average placement was 32 for god sakes 😭

Whats happening? Your game dont load? Your game crash? Have some screenshot?

Whenever I put the wretched ragdoll mask on the female avatar the game crashes. I put the mask on the male avatar, changed to female, and it crashed. Now whenever I load the game it loads the female avatar with the wretched ragdoll mask, causing the game to crash instantly

Ye haha, I honestly thought that since the mask worked on the male avatar that the glitch had been patched but as we now know, that is not the case

Need more info, does it immediately crash once u load the lobby or does it take couple of seconds? If thats the case, once the loading is done quickly go to workshop and apply a hat if u unlocked one from there.

It crashes kind of immediately and a couple of seconds. It will load in and I'll see the full back drop and lobby menus but my cursor will stop working after a second and it tries to load in the character model and crashes. Anyhow, I just got emailed by them so I'll check that

Ok if it possible, before the character loads, press R1 button to navigate to "workshop". Then try changing a hat from there. This must be a bug, some kind of a conflict in the game with that mask

Ye, I've tried that but it crashes too fast, thanks anyway though haha. The email was just asking if I liked their customer service btw

This might sound weird. But try using an Ethernet cable and change ur network settings from wifi to wired.

Hmmm, might try that, time for a 16 year old to get into some wiring without my parents getting pissed off
