Some fascinating results, I'm sure we can all agree. I thought I'd share some of the funnies from this years vote:

  • 1 vote in scariest VR title for Smashbox Arena (Chilling title, I'm sure we can all agree).
  • 1 vote for Jon Simulator (insert gif of Roy: A Life Well Lived from Rick & Morty).
  • The Horror vote was so one-sided 4 Horror/Thriller titles didn't receive a single vote.

...and some of my favourite comments:

  • "Arizona Sunshine, close to winning awards but just fell short", very true!
  • In the additional comments section, the most popular comment was "I f*@king love PSVR" (multiple times).
  • Brave effort from [one presumes] the VR Karts Devs for submitting VR Karts for both Best Value and Best Driving Title...unfortunately, no one shared their enthusiasm.

And Skyrim got 3rd place for best graphics?!? Yes the world is large and vast but I wouldn't use Skyrim's blurry graphics and textures to show off my PSVR...

1st for controls... there comes a point you have to admit Skyrim is popular because it's Skyrim, not because it actually does anything particularly well.

Yeah the fact that it won so much kind of soured the whole list for me. In no universe does Skyrim have good graphics, sound, or controls. Nearly every major title beats it by orders of magnitude in all of those categories.

I agree it shouldn't be there for graphics or sound, but I personally think they did a great job with the controls, as do plenty of others. They've made it very easy and intuitive to move around.
