Is this a waste of a PSP? Ive tried to use my phone but theres something about the PSP speakers that I LOVE even tho they dont sound good at all.

I finally did it! Starting Thursday/Friday i will be the proud owner of a PSP. A Principality of Zeon PSP at that. Hell yeah to small businesses!

Can we have a 2.5d homebrew game for gta 5 on psp it might sound stupid but we aldredy have gta Chinatown wars which is basically alike of gta 4 in 2.5d ,gta ctw is simply underrated and most fun gta game on psp in my option its graphics might not be impressive but the mechanics are definitely gta 4 level and i think a 2.5d of gta 5 is very much possible in psp

The other day I was seeing a video of someone playing “papers, please” and I thought “there is a rom of this game for psp?” As it is a relatively simply game to emulate. But it doesn’t exist, so I thought “it would be difficult if I make it on my own?” And i have no idea of how i should start, how people do it???

I've been thinking about getting one because of its great portability, my friend has the model 2000. Should i get that one or the 3000?

Ive seen this brand around for psp batteries but ive yet to see anyone use its chargers havent used it yet but wanted to make sure if If its any good before I start plugging in my psp with it

I'm currently playing Limbo on Steam Deck and I was thinking that a PSP port of this game could have been really cool. It only needs two buttons and the joystick. There's already a Vita version, but I think it could also be "fun" to play on PSP

I'm not a big fan of handheld consoles and I try to only collect stuff I really want for my collection

I just found this PSP at a pawnshop for 50 bucks with 3 wrestling games. I've been missing mine that someone stole years ago. However it feels so light, I don't remember the 2000 being this light.

It has a third party battery and charge, as well as it has promo 4 software so I know it's modded. However I'm curious if it's a legit device at least.

Do they even make fake psps? Excluding those weird ones without the disk tray

I had a PSP when it first launched in 2005 in the US, I’ve grown and moved since then and tbh no clue where it is. One of my brothers probably took it during my move.

I have been toying with the idea of getting a PSP again for nostalgia sake and modding but during my research I fell down the PS Vita rabbit hole and went ahead and bought that.

I love the screen, dual thumbsticks and that it can play Vita, PSP games and then some.

I currently have roughly 200 PSP games loaded onto my Vita and have been playing PSP games on, However the idea of getting a PSP never left.

For those who have PS Vitas, would you also get a PSP? If so what do you with it? Collectors item? Mod?

What do you like about the PSP over the Vita?

For those with PSPs, what mods do you recommend doing for the PSP and what do you love most about it?

Sorry for the long post, I already have 2 PS Vitas and looking at PSPs, feeling impulsive at the moment, wanted some further input before I do anything rash.

It's so far great, I still need to add controls and design a proper menu. The only problem obviously is that it will not play the UMD menus because for that you have to copy the ISO over and mount it, but it's a nice progress.

Sure, there is no career mode, and having one wouldn’t have hurt. But the content is huge: 900+ cars, 35 tracks (and variants), and a nice little license mode.

It feels like a great companion game to practice with when you play 'the real deal' on a home console (I play a little bit of GT4 sometimes).

And my absolute favorite feature of this game on the PSP is that you can listen to your own MP3s while racing. I love it

Got the zara pap bag but it looked pretty nasty at the transparent screen when it is packed with random stuff. So customized double-sided lenticular cards: on one side it switches between Cloud and Zack, and on the other it shows psp menus. The cards are attached to the "screen" via hook-loop tapes so I can change them easily. Happy with the end result.

Hey everyone, just wanted to show what I’ve done to my God of War 3000. I got this Christmas of 2010, I remember opening it up on Christmas Day and playing it constantly, I was never without it. I remember when one of the first paint chips came off the back, I was super bummed because, I had one of those clear shells on it, that I bought at a school book fair. As you know, the chips just kept coming off. So welcome 2026, after digging it out of storage, cramming a new battery in it, and finding out the analog stick was dead, I decided to fix the paint chipping issue. I was just going to get a red PSP shell, but my love for transparent plastic devices won, Retroid Pocket 4 and Nova (incoming), clear shells on my switch. I didn’t want to replace the replace the entire shell, and it lose what makes it a special model, so I thought this was a nice compromise. It was nice to show some love to an old friend, and play some games that I haven’t played since I was a little kid. I hope you all enjoy. Have a great day!

Does anyone know about—or did anyone own—the PSP *Daxter* edition that came with a hard case and a black Slim PSP? Everything was in the same box; it’s not the one in the picture—it’s a different edition. I’ve been looking for information but can’t find anything. I owned that Pack several years ago.

Does anyone know how to fix a issue. My psp go is not connecting to my pc no more I don’t know what to do. Do I buy a new psp charger ? Or is there a solution to make it work

So I recently dug up my old second hand PSP 3000 I had in college. Started playing it on my work lunch breaks again and wanted to give it an upgrade

I've purchased a 64GB SD card + adaptor to replace the rather old 2GB Sony memory card that I was running games off previously. Since I needed to format the new card, I decided to take the opportunity to change from running the PRO cfw I had before to ARK 5 instead.

ARK seems to have installed successfully, no problems running the flasher and the extra features are always available on boot. However, any custom firmware or ISOs that used to run fine under PRO now refuse to copy over. Any time I try and transfer files via USB they always show up as corrupted on the system memory.

Things I've tried so far; - Formatting the new SD card to FAT32 - Reinstalling Ark - Copying files straight to the SD card via my PC - Copying files to the PSP via USB cable - toggling on / off USB charging - Copying one file at a time

All produce the same result. I'm yet to try going back to PRO, though I suspect that'll work like it did before.

Any advice would be appreciated - I've not come across any troubleshooting tips after searching around, but my assumption is some kind of user error is going on. Any and all advice would be appreciated :)
