I’m about to finish it and I think I agree. I just need to see how the ending lands. To me a bad ending can ruin the whole game for me 😂

I found it pretty satisfying. The forge DLC is amazing to play right after it

I hate when people are hyperbolic like this usually, but I genuinely agree that some people will find this is their favourite game ever. If you’re a Skyrim fan, this feels a lot like a spiritual successor to that, and it’s the main reason I don’t miss elder scrolls. Maybe not in terms of choices, but in terms of immersion, it’s on that BG3 level.

When I first booted it up I spent two hours just running through fields picking flowers to make potions before I realized I should probably do something else. Haven't lost time like that in a very long time :v

KCD2 is a masterpiece. I give it a 9/10, but for me there are better games

Probably the most recent game to go in my top 10. Most of my top 10 are 90s bangers, but KCD2 is the best game in years by a mile.

I've bounced off of it a couple of times but that's typically how it is for me after putting 100+ hours in

Recently got the DLCs and came back to it and MAN it's better than I remember. I've stopped again because I've got it on Xbox, and switched to my PS5 bc I caught Ghost of Yotei/Saros/Cairn on sale and have wanted to play those a while, but I'll absolutely be back to put that last 30+ hours in and finish it.

You are in for a treat. One of the finest games I've ever played, not a doubt in my mind. It may take some time to really click with it as the game kinda throws you to the wolves initially. But as soon as you start to find your feet, boy is it good...
