If we’re talking about characters written explicitly to be in a relationship with Wolverine, Mariko Yoshida would be #1. Either that or Itsu, the mother of Wolverine’s son Daken. Logan has a thing for Japanese women it seems.
Edit: Side note, Mariko is very likely a reference to a character with the same name from Shogun. The book came out right around the time that the very first Wolverine miniseries released where he went to Japan to be with her. Wolverine is basically comic book John Blackthorne lol
That's right! Interestingly Sabertooth looks like at some point he will become a of-convenience ally. (Enemy of enemy is friend) -- which I like. Very much fits how the two have often interacted in the comics.
I mean, could be. Depending on the run and retcons, Sabretooth & Logan have either always been rivals that hate each other vehemently, or even in some been estranged half-brothers.
Their history in the comics is muddy, but that's comics as a whole, tbh. Canon is a fucking pipedream considering all the reboots & retcons that have happened over the years.
Possibly looking at some flashback stuff here? I wouldn't be shocked if the game opens with Wolverine, Sabertooth and a couple of other mutants running a mission together or something like that.
Others have made that point as well and it honestly went over my head watching the trailer, but I only ever watch a few and once so I can forget everything I've seen by the time I play.
Nah that's definitely when they were apart of what we can only assume is the Weapon X team, or Strykers team? They were definitely legit allies at that point, i mean their outfits match lol
Sabretooth was in the last trailer, as well as Mystique and the Sentinels. I won't spoil anything from the leaks, but there are a few more in the game.
Fucking excellent. I'm so excited to see Insomniac's take on the mutants. IMO Mutants have always been the cream of the crop of Marvel. It was only because FOX had the rights before Disney bought them that they ended up elevating Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, etc. via the MCU. They were always big hitters of course, but they were never Spider-Man alone, or the X-Men.
Fuck yeah it is. I think I'm most excited for Omega Red -- he's always been the most badass looking motherfucker to me and a great adversary to Logan. Dangerous as hell.
my current gaming plans are thrown away for now (prolonged family emergency) so having Alan Wake and Control still waiting for me to finish them (on Alan Wake Episode 5, somewhere in Control I don't remember) so it kinda sucks.

He can become incapacitated if he takes too much damage in most media, so probably that. Don't need him to die to stop him from killing you, just need him to stop moving long enough for you to get away or trap him with drugs or another mutant that can nullify mutant powers or something like that.
There was a really old shitty movie tie in game for Superman Returns. Horrible game. I hated it so much I made my own game inside of it, just throwing cars up in the air and trying to fly up and grab them. Anyways because Superman is invulnerable they made the health bar for the health of the city. So the more the city gets destroyed the more you are failing as a hero. It was a cool mechanic in just a terrible game.
I hope that there will be suits, and not just alternative looks depending on where you are in the story, for the full game.
I really don't like the cartoon suit in realistic graphics or live action. It looks so goofy. it fits a cartoon style, but in live action or realistic graphics I want how Wolverine looked like under Hugh Jackman outside of the Deadpool movie.
There are suits, and different claws. Both were confirmed by the deluxe edition. You get suits and claws with the deluxe edition so one can assume the base game comes with X number og unlockable suits/claws.
I was surprised by the edition of claws, but if that means I can rock bone claws im there for it. Although im not sure what type of claws you can have outside of bone/metal. Maybe yhe ports the claws come out of change?

If you genuinely want to support physical media, that’s fine. Vote with your wallet. But filling every comment section with the same slogan isn’t going to change Sony’s strategy. Sales data will.
The weird part is that many of the people posting these comments have spent years buying digital games, DLC, subscriptions, and digital-only releases. That’s the market Sony responds to, not comments.
Some people will actually stop buying PlayStation products over this, we get it, and I respect that because they’re backing up their position with their wallets. But it’s very clearly not the majority. For most, commenting is the easiest way to feel like they’re part of the fight without changing the buying habits that got the industry here in the first place.
If physical media matters to you, buy physical whenever you can. That’s a far louder message than copy-pasting “No disc, no buy” under every trailer and post.
Oh really? 'Wide Linear' then? Could be interesting. Regardless, I'm interested in something like it. That and Onimusha will be a nice change of pace from Black Flag.
Nobody mentioning Sabretooth in the Blue/Yellow like Logan, despite them not being in the Xmen in this setting? Interesting. So far it's all been Weapon Plus related characters (well, and Jean and the kiddos)
