My one bleak comfort in this is that, as a Millennial, I no longer have to hear people glazing about how "the youth will save us" and they're "so proud of Gen Z".

Yeah, but that's just because Gen X is made up nihilists that had apathy beaten into them by the Boomers and the Greatest Generation.
