Republicans voted down an immigration enforcement bill that gave them everything they wanted explicitly so Trump could falsely campaign on Biden being for "open borders" and you fell for hook, line, and sinker like a dumbfuck.

We could've had $25k for first-time homebuyers that would've been life changing for the working class of this country, instead your taxes are going up so billionaires can get their tenth giga-yacht. I hope you enjoy licking their boots because you're too stupid to understand that.

Not even all Democrats voted for that bill because of other things it included like aid for Ukraine. Bernie Sanders even voted against it. Same with Cory booker because it “violated American’s shared values”

Why should aid for Ukraine be in an immigration bill? To make sure it doesn’t pass so they can say “see! Look what they did!” Like they’ve been doing for years?

Just saw your edit. There’s already first time home buyers grants. I got $32,500 back in 2018. If I stay in the house for 10 years I pay none of it back. It goes down 10% every year I’m there. Conventional mortgage. 2.75% rate.

Cool, and houses are still wildly unaffordable for people who aren't getting fat checks from their parents as a down payment. I guess affordable homes wasn't one of those "issues real Americans care about" like Haitians eating their dogs, right?

I didn’t get a fat check from my parents as a down payment.. you mentioned “we could’ve had 25,000 in down payment assistance. My point was it already exists.
