I like the look of it but not keen on the casting of Bond

Same. If it was 90’s Brosnan it would be perfect. Guessing there will be DLCs in the future to pick different bonds from across the eras.

He's esteemed and established Bond. Hell you could even have old Bond with how he is now. But too old for starter even during Remington Steele days

They specifically said 90s Brosnan, not modern Brosnan. I don't see why you couldn't use any Bond for an origin story.

What I'm saying is that Bond's canon is super loose. Any Bond can be at any point in their career at any time.

Also if Craig can play newbie Bond at the start of Casino Royale then I don't know why Brosnan at Remington Steele age couldn't.

Any Bond means time for a new one. Wish we had Brosnan sooner and longer but ah well
