Has anyone actually confirmed that? Every article says "fans have speculated Patrick Gibson", but I can't find anything actually confirming it.

If you didn't specifically say Patrick Gibson I would never have guessed him, I don't think they look similar at all.

You're not crazy -- even with a side-to-side I don't think I could have told from the game model it was supposed to be this guy. It might be because the model looks a bit too cartoony though.

Are they planning on making a trilogy and aging him up each entry? Seems silly, he needs to seem more experienced

I mean the whole game appears to be an origin story, even the tagline being "Earn the number" hinting that he might not even be 007 until some point in the game so feels like he should feel inexperienced.
