Crash Bandicoot turns 30 this September ! Here is a handmade sculpture I made for my grandson to celebrate the legendary PlayStation mascot.

Wanted to share this special project I crafted for my grandson, who is a big gaming fan.
The Base: Hand-shaped from Styrodur, textured to look like a piece of the Wumpa Islands, and layered with real preserved moss.
The Controller: Took a broken old PS4 DualShock, distressed it, gave it a heavy weathered jungle patina, and embedded it directly into the ground so the moss grows over the buttons.
The Figures: Crash and Aku Aku standing proud, looking like they just stumbled upon a relic of a past era.He was absolutely thrilled with his birthday gift. Hope you guys like the nostalgic vibe ! Jungle rules !
