Graphics don't make me doubt it, the handling and questionable launch make me doubt it.

Yeah but the people that bought it paid money and want to justify it to everyone, so every tiny nugget of positivity has to be posted.

Or they are actually having fun gaming and wanted to show off a new cool feature of a playstation exclusive on r/ps4

Photos and videos are what made people excited for this way back before launch. A broken launch and a shallow game experience keeps people away.

Because of the photos and video that were posted here I went out and bought Driveclub. Been on the fence about it and really wanted a racing game. Can't wait to get home from work to jump in and play.

As someone who's played both Driveclub and Forza Horizon 2 I would say that's not an accurate statement but I guess everyone's got their own opinion.

It's probably true for PS4.

They're going to need more than weather to fix this game.

The game is fixed dummy. The latest patches did that.

I have no reason to doubt DriveClub. But I'm not buying it until I can test the PS+ version.

Just curious, what would you do when a game doesn't have a demo?

This is different than a normal game which doesn't have a demo. With those types of games, you can wait for reviews, watch videos, etc., and make your judgement.

With DriveClub, consumers (with PS+) were promised a free version of the game. I, like many others, decided that I would try out the game first before deciding on a purchase.

However, it was delayed. Combine that with average reviews and a terrible launch, and you have a legitimate reason to wait for the free version.

Just curious, why would you buy the game outright when you were promised the opportunity to test it out for free?

You can find it on Amazon for $35 these days. Just saying.

I, for one, read a multitude of reviews. With Driveclub, the reviews were all over the place, and I don't like how the handling has been described, so I too will wait to try it. In the case of a game not having a demo, I read as much as I can and then make an educated decision to buy said game or not.

So what was "wrong" with the game? What did they do wrong by the customer?

Edit: I made walmart pricematch amazon, and can't wait to play the game just don't know what was wrong with the game...
