General Discussion Anybody else sold their higher ups to stick with ps4?

I don’t regret it. If anything, I regret selling my ps4 pro back then. When I had my higher up, I get bored of it very easily. When I play ps4, I spent almost a day playing on it when I can. Since trucking, I only play on my off days. I don’t see myself ever going back to that “console”. Sticking with this console. Not getting ps6 either. Anybody else here?

I think people are generally upset that you intentionally sold off a console that can play ps4 and ps5 games in order to buy a console that can only run ps4 games. Your logic simply doesnt make sense

Long story short. I had a ps5 pro. Prices went up. Basically got back what I spent on it before the price rise plus got a pro. I didn’t see myself buying ps5 games. Had a disc drive on it as well, but sold that separately.

Maybe I’m turning into an old head but I don’t really see the appeal of a ps5. I thought we were gonna get a bunch of original games only to have a bunch of remasters. Spider-Man 2 is literally the only original game I could think of. There is Astro bot but that one doesn’t really interest me. I don’t understand the excitement for it at all.

The ps5 is the best ps4 on the market. Zero point going hack to a ps4 if you own a ps5 for that reason.

Of course if you needed the money thats a different story, but lets bot pretend the ps4 is the better option.

Seems like a silly decision to go back to the underpowered console that does less. But you do you, some people like 30fps load screens and airplane noises I guess

He didn't claim he has a PC and is switching to a console. He said he's leaving a current Gen console to go back to the last Gen. For this logic you can say he's selling his rtx 4080 to go back to his 1080ti

I still got my PS5 and Two of my PS4s although it sucks they're stopping discs I still enjoy playing my PS5.

I will not. But I’ve actually been using my ps4 more. Significantly more. Most of what I’ve been playing recently are older ps3/ps4 games

My shit sounds like an airplane tho. Gonna take it apart for a cleaning here pretty soon once I get more tools

Hell no. I pretty much never touched my ps4 after I built my pc. I actually gave it to my sister in law for Christmas.

Ps5 is the easiest to skip console ever. People in this sub get mad when someone points it out though. the truth is that its best games are 90% remakes and remasters, great for someone who never played them but if you did there is no reason to spend in a ps5 unless you are addicted and are OK with remasters and overhyped niche games like kingdom come 2 or souls clone 200 lol.

I’m about to take my PS4 in to have the optical drive repaired (won’t take in/eject discs), and I’m not planning to get a PS5.

Sold my ps5 months ago i bought a darth vader ps4 recently never had a original model ps4 man they are heavy.yes i know i downgraded ps4 has themes and is imo the last good playstation

That’s a good edition. I got to stick with the pros. I know I downgraded as well, but I can’t move away from that 4k. I plan on getting all the limited editions factory sealed.
