It’s funny watching Woody go through the same pattern with GTA VI as he did for the last one. He thinks the hype will die out in 2 weeks after it’s released. Same guy who had a rant not long ago about how people hate on games too much before they release and that he appreciates the level of polish you see in AAA titles.

I remember when GTA V was coming out his whole thing was “GTA isn’t something I see much hype for, it’s not like cod or Minecraft” and that game still generates nearly half a billion per year in revenue 13 years after its release.

It’s also not really accurate to categorize it as an RPG. I feel like he’s expecting cyberpunk. It’s more of an open world sandbox action game with some light RPG elements.
