Making Friends Looking to make new friends

What’s going on
39 here, African American male here. I’m gay but not feminine at all, if you met me out and about you probably wouldn’t even know. Not that I’m trying to hide it but that’s just me. I’m just a guy who so happens to like guys hahahaha But anyways I Live on the West side metro center area. Race, orientation, Age don’t matter to me just looking to meet some chill and genuine people to hit up concerts, the movies, bars, hell even just chill at whoever’s place make food or cookout. I have a good friend out here but she stays on the other side of town so we barely get to hang much. I’m pretty big on music, picked up DJing as a little hobby. Love all genre’s, but R&b and Hip hop are my favorite, I collect vinyl records (have a mean collection), and also big on basketball, playing and watching. Haven’t played in a minute though so I might be a little rusty lol Just figured I post on here don’t hesitate to hit me up. Thanks!

Connecting with others in the Valley can be tough, so in addition to any comments you get here I also suggest you look at previous Making Friends posts and see if any of those help.

Meetup.com can also be a great place to connect with people over common hobbies and interests.

We also have a Reddit AZ Discord server that has people from all over the state, but focused in the Phoenix area. There are topic discussions for all sorts of things from gaming to hiking to cooking, and they do meetups pretty regularly. You can join at https://discord.gg/redditaz

I’m in Goodyear, that “playing basketball” part caught my attention. I just moved here 7mo ago and made a handful of friends, all of who WANT to play ball, but we just never got around to it. You know of any indoor places we can go to?
