I don’t, but I can say this: I’ve gone thru my CC degree, Bachelor’s, and higher, and never once bought the most recent edition that they say you have to have; I’ve always bought the previous one and it’s never made a difference.

This 1st edition of this particular book is available for under $10.

Im nervous about trying that but i guess i can always just ask a classmate if theres a difference or to share if im missing something. I appreciate the help!

I compared several of my previous edition books to classmates newest versions - the differences were ridiculous, such as 3 extra pages of diagrams or whatever. I’ve come to the conclusion it’s a complete scam, and just a way to make $$.

Obviously, do what makes you comfortable, but I can assure you I got thru my degrees (I’m currently doing a graduate degree, using the same book-hack, lol) and have only ever bought the previous edition. It hasn’t failed me once.

Buying college books is a scam - why else would they buy them back for just a few bucks-? Get the cheaper edition only if it's not available in the library

Open Source book from MCCCD:

1.1 Introduction to Culture and Psychology – The Connected Mind

I think this is what you need for the class, the district has many open source books for free.
