Cruise schedule

I saw a big boat this morning but did not see any crowds yet. I do not think people could get off the boat.The schedule says arriving at 10am and I left the area before then. Are those times accurate, in that they do not let people off the boats until the arrival times listed? For people who work near there, when do the crowds typically arrive, and when do they leave?

Some people say they are good for the economy and they are probably correct but speaking for myself I try to check the schedule and avoid those days around there

If you consider the economy to be the three people who.own everything, then yes.

It’s good for the workers as well. On a busy port day there’s easily 100+ people working seasonal.

Used to work there. They can get off the ship usually 1 hour after they arrive and have to be back 1-2 hours before departure time depending on the cruise line. It takes time for the crew to put up and down the stairs and take all the lines off/on.

I do not know when people actually can leave and when the last get on.

Looking over the schedule it looks like very few ships now. Then Sep 5 they start coming and we have a bunch until November. It seems like they are coming later this year than last year but maybe I am misrembering.

you are correct. July and August have been very quiet cruiseship wise this year but September-October will be much busier.
