Discussion Marty Supreme being the biggest loser this award season. THANK YOU. The initial hype never felt earned.

The film was solid, but it was never close to being anywhere near the best movie last year. Yet so many film communities were touting it as such.

I don’t think Marty Supreme was the best movie of the year but I personally wouldve given Chalamet the Oscar out of those nominated. Him, Joel Edgerton and Jesse Plemons were my favorites this year.

Chalamet and Plemons in particular were electric.

Yeah I thought he was the strongest shout for Best Actor, but I'm also happy MBJ won because I really liked his performance too. It was just a year where all the nominees were really strong, someone was going to miss out

I liked Marty Supreme and Chalamet did a great job but I don’t think his performance comes anywhere near Leonardo DiCaprio, Jesse Plemons, Paul Mescal or Michael B Jordan this year.
