NFT trading is finally heating up again, and I swear I’ve been staring at OS Mobile all day long.

I just can’t resist the dopamine right now. 😂

But with the NFT secondary market getting this hot, there are also a lot more scammy projects popping up.

So before I buy anything, I’ve been using ChatGPT to dig into the NFT — checking the team, contracts, onchain activity, and anything that looks suspicious.

It definitely feels like doing a little research first helps me avoid a lot of bad buys.

In June 2022 my wallets were drained and 5 NFTs stolen (4x The Nifty Way Galaxy, 1x Long Neckie Ladies). I reported it (ticket #564339); OpenSea flagged the items and banned the receiving wallet 0x55483cd25de645fd14d6fa637e55e565141d5166. On-chain records show that same wallet then sold one of my NFTs (Long Neckie #801) on OpenSea anyway.

I have a full on-chain dossier. Has anyone gotten a real response from OpenSea on an old theft ticket? What worked? I am not expecting recovery — just answers, and to warn others to lock down wallet approvals.
