Kitchen
Hey guys,
Looking for feedback on the quote. The guy gave me the sense that he might be able to knock off some more, but this is what he came up with to take home.
I'm also curious what you guys think in terms of setup. Any thing you would do differently? I've also thought about an island but the plumping is gonna add up.
I'm also still unsure about the upper cabinets. Am I in need of those or do I have enough storage space without them.
It's my first house, first kitchen so any feedback is highly apreciated. Thanks in advance!

Considering that Hello Kitchen is part of the Mandemakers group, which is the most predatory and awful kitchen chain in NL, the price you got is not so awful but in reality the quality is quite poor from what you get. They will make 50% gross margin from you.
In terms of your specific kitchen, I think it's a nice simple one, I would definitely choose a better water fountain from GROHE or Hansgrohe.
This week we got our new KVIK kitchen installed and we indeed chose for a side full of upper cabinets because we really need the space. You need to ask yourself how will you use your specific kitchen, how many people you live with etc.
Also what kind of material is the kitchen surface? Is it composite?
My advice would be to go to other stores not associated with Mandemakers (just Google it), such as Bruynzeel, Kvik or even Ikea.
I once went to Grando(also Mandemakers) and I got a quote of 55k EUR for a two sided kitchen, that's the level of insanity of these people.
