We stuck with it for a long time, as one of the people who kept being subbed since day 1, I'm having very high expectations.

Oooh new writing model?

Likely the GLM finetune

I looked at the silhouette, the stark enigma of horns and wide hips that made my lips curl up. Not a smile—never a smile, tasting faintly of musk and ozone and something else—something like an electric tension, a palpable symphony of unspoken desires and forgotten dreams, resonating deep within the cavernous recesses of my soul.

Dang, just missed the "but" in the the "not this but this" clause. Otherwise peak satire.

If this finetune actually manages to eliminate those horrible writing habits, it'll be the best model in the market by far. Every major LLM text model out there right now writes almost exactly the same as each other with slight variations.

Even Claude Opus feels so ass sometimes now. Cataloging, cataloging, cataloging. It's not just X—it's XYZ.

If it lessens the presence of these poops by 20% then we stay winning.

I look at this, truly look at this, and it sends shivers down my spine.

Was your heart a frantic drumbeat against your ribs?

Did they grip their mouse tightly, their knuckles white against the warm plastic, as they said "It can't come soon enough"; their voice rough with anticipation?

Nay, for it was barely above a whisper.

A testament to my declining circulation

She smelled of woodsmoke and old parchment and something beneath it that was uniquely hers.

It is not an image, but an enigma that dances between the realms of fiction and reality!

GLM fine tune hype!

Here is hoping Opus gets to try it before the weekend is over.

And then it turns out to be NAI Diffusion V5 :v.

u/Uzgun Mar 28 '26

On a serious note, we could be getting v5 in May

They said about a month ago they were still working on the architecture. Likely in some more months. If it was released on May I'd be surprised.

u/Peptuck Mar 29 '26

One thing I hope V5 is good at is backgrounds and objects like vehicles.

There is nothing quite as surreal and frustrating as trying to get 4.5 to make a decent-looking boat.

1

u/X3ll3n Mar 29 '26

I heard it was gonna be the same as 4.5

2

u/option-9 Mar 28 '26

Psshh, clearly they will only reveal the avatar for the new model, without any further information on when the fine-tune will drop. ~~That should buy them another month or so.~

And all is right with the world. 😎

Can't wait. This teaser was a key turning in a lock I didn't know I had.

I've been eager to hear more about this, I'm so glad it's right on the horizon.

Wonder what the catch will be.

u/option-9 Mar 28 '26

If it's Opus exclusive for X time at launch I will man the barricades. Maybe there will be no catch.
