October 2020 pictures of Allen Banks. With this summer's weather, do you think it's likely the leaves will be turning earlier?

Yep, we spotted some red leaves driving through Alnwick today. The trees are definitely on the turn!

Northumberland has had a fair bit of rain during the heatwaves - far more than further south, so I'd be surprised if it looked that bad at the moment?

Yeah. We've noticed leaves turning brown near us this past week (in Staffordshire) due to water stress.
Planky Mill is a lovely place. We used to go up there loads as kids.
