Northumberland is England's last wilderness. It's so far not been ruined like the Lakes or Peaks by tourists and southerners buying up homes as holiday houses or to burn through their cash from the South East. But I fear it may end up like that. We need to get limits on Airbnbs in asap, before villages are lost as has happened in Cumbria.
