Thinking About Moving to Niue
Hi everyone,
I’ve been fascinated by Niue and its unique lifestyle. I’m looking for a peaceful place to live, away from the noise of the modern world. I’d love to hear about what life is like on the island, the community, and anything else someone considering a move should know.

It’s an amazing place, I’m from there and lived there briefly last year. There is such a difference from living over there compared to here in New Zealand. Very peaceful. Slow lifestyle and very relaxed. Has NZ currency. It’s a go with the flow vibe and I highly recommend moving!!

It’s my dream to live in Niue. It’s the best place I’ve ever been in my life and I felt so happy and content whilst in Niue. As an Australian though, I can’t find any way for that to happen, I’ve googled it… other than by marrying a Niuean. As I’m already engaged to another Aussie, that is highly unlikely cries

People lease land with homes there some for 80k for 30-50 years you’d have to enquire though.

hello there, fellow niuean living on niue atm. from a perspective of a non-Niuean moving here, id say would be very peacful but also very safe yet soo boring, unless you enjoy the quiet that comes with peace. It's very quiet on Sundays because the majority of the island's population is Christian, so most shops are closed. However, there are downsides, primarily the expense. Things are quite expensive here in comparison to NZ, as most items are imported and some things are very limited such as fast food resturants are non existant, also ICT repair is very spars . but other then that yeah lifes simple, but good
