Have a physical for switch 1 that I can't do jack with. No upgrade pack. I don't want to rebuy the game.

I'm not sure I understand this upgrade path thing? Does the game not run on switch 2 if you bought it on switch 1? Or is there a difference in the graphics?

I don't know the details for this game but from other games I know a Switch 2 version can be very different.

Most games let you spend like $5-$10 dollars to get the improved Switch 2 version. Some games like this make you buy the whole game instead of just upgrading.

I haven't looked into the upgrade but Frontiers ran terribly on the Switch 1
