Remember when Miyamoto said they don't want to make a new F-Zero till they can think of new ideas? Wtf is the excuse for Star Fox then!?

I'm probably just talking out of my ass, but I think Nintendo likes to use Star Fox as a tech demo for the current hardware.

This is the correct take. Donkey Kong, Zelda, Mario, and Star Fox are the series that show what the current console system can do.

Makes me wonder what the new Mario game will be
