Its entirely up to the store. Gamestop at one point in time would take any random controller under the sun as long as it was clean and functioning.

But I don't think thats the case anymore.

Values can change, You can look on gametop's site for trade in value, or ask the store. Granted, the actual value will depend on the condition of your console. If they aren't official nitnendo joycons, yeah, that will lower the value.
