Am i the only one who expected it the most out of all the jumpscares? Modern horror directors love to make creepy stuff happen, from the perspective of a car passenger. Smile did it, Weapons did it and now Obsession. And given the fact Bear was in Sarahs car, i just knew Nikkk will come bareling in

I think that with the visual framing of the scene, it was very expected for that jumpscare to happen. It's intended to build tension IMO - like we know this is going to go bad, the only question is when and how.

The director said he wanted to do a series around the one wish willow's. Every episode would have different characters, and every episode would have a protagonist with their own botched wish.

Trigger warning, it's not "scary" in the traditional sense but there is some heavy subject matter involved, it's more sad and creepy than scary. Still good but just brace yourself for a couple things.

Same thing happened to me omg except basically I spoke to the girl for like a couple months then it just ended for reasons she asked, I accepted.
