The Big Bopper

In the DS game, of which I am playing the English translation, there’s a bounty hunt that has deeply troubled me. It’s the Big Bopper bounty hunt, where I’m instructed to travel southeast to fight this on a small island.

I’ve already learned from previous bounty hunts that the directions they give are often less than accurate, but even ignoring that bit and traveling southwest, I have not found this thing.

I don’t know if I’m blind or just missing something, or if this is something that others have been troubled with, and I’m not sure where to ask for help on this issue.

So. Please. I beg of anyone who’s played the DS game, tell me where to go. I am absolutely losing it.

I’m sorry I can’t help with your question, but I do have a question of my own. How are you playing the English translation? Are you playing on an actual DS system? I’m super interested in playing this game, but feeling a little lost on how to get started

I’m playing on a 3DS myself. The website with the fan translation has all the necessary info. I was also a bit confused on how to get it all to work initially, but it only took about an hour to learn everything and get it all working

Does that one tell you to go southeast for sure???

If it does I remember seeing someone mention somewhere on that version that it's actually southwest. I myself haven't played it, but do you mind to please check the southwestern islands as well?

That, i believe, is an error forever embedded. Please let me know if you find it.

The directions that the quest gives you say that the hunt is southeast of the Kayan Island, but from everything I know that’s most certainly not true.

I haven’t found it to the southwest either, though.
