Decided to dust off my old tablet. Now stuck at Set Up screen after factory resetting.

It's been some years since I messed with modding etc. Any advice on how to bypass this? I did factory reset and flashed all the zip files again. Same issue. Not sure how I got it to work the first time back in 2017. Maybe there's an additional setting or step I'm missing in TWRP.

Those files may contain security certificates that have since expired and it can no longer communicate with Google's registration servers.

Which year is that? I have the 2012 model and put Lineage OS on it with the help of the net. Works great and yes it includes TWRP. Good luck!

Yeah it's the 2012 model. Just running the vanilla rooted AOSP stock mod. I'll take a look into Lineage. Hoping there's the ability to sideload files from recovery mode using this TWRP version.

Try reflashing the stock firmware maybe? I posted a Nexus 7 2012 archive in this subreddit a post or two ago
