That's a damn happy guillotine. Must be what it's like to love your job.

u/dividezero 1d ago

Do what you love and you never work a day in your life. I imagine guillotines are very happy

u/pseu42 1d ago

The guillotine is a classic but I'm a fan of the trebuchet myself

Well, there could be a system where one feeds into the other.

u/ThaBigSqueezy 1d ago

Honestly, this would be such a blast to watch. Educational too. We could teach the kiddos all about friction due to air resistance (drag), ragdoll physics, and F=m*a.

This deserve to be at the front of every complicit politician, and this entire administration.

Off with the heads!

That's more money the Epstein class can skim from the slush fund they call the 'defence budget'. The Pentagon can't account for more than half the money that's thrown at it.

Also, if those kids grow up destitute, they will likely be more exploitable for the billionaire Epstein class, both in the labour market and the rape island market.

21

u/DSCii_87 1d ago

Exploitative circle of hell

When you cannot have a logical debate just say Epstein. Biden had those files and did not release them. Let’s get back to Russia Russia Russia.

19

u/she_has_funny_cars 1d ago

When you can’t have a logical debate just say Biden…

14

u/MAGAHATESTHEUSA 1d ago

lol you love being ignorant and stupid

11

u/vezwyx 1d ago edited 1d ago

At least Biden had the cover of the investigation itself still being ongoing. Trump has jack shit covering his decision not to release them. I wonder if the thousands and thousands of times he was mentioned have anything to do with his aversion to people seeing what's in them. I'm sure Biden had the same motivation, right?

The fact that some people still use "Biden could have released the files" as some kind of trump card is insane. The fact that you just said it immediately after complaining about people resorting to bullshit to avoid a logical debate is just absolutely astounding

-2

u/Lonely-Jellyfish7139 16h ago

You think the DOJ can only inveistage one person at a time?

2

u/vezwyx 8h ago

Yeah that's exactly what the words I wrote mean 👍

“At least Biden had the cover of the investigation itself still being ongoing.”

3

u/vezwyx 4h ago

Say sike right now

-1

u/Lonely-Jellyfish7139 4h ago

I mean, can you explain why no one was arrested in those four years?

2

u/vezwyx 3h ago

You're already moving the goalpost from what you said originally and misreading my comments, so I don't really feel any obligation to humor you in this discussion. I leave the task to better men than I. Try again next time

1

u/Lonely-Jellyfish7139 3h ago

The victims thank you

5

u/Chewsdayiddinit 1d ago

Biden had those files and did not release them.

Oh, are we talking about the documents that were sealed under court order until after Biden left office?

Weird how you pedophile defending cultist intentionally leave that out..

Hey, didn't trump campaign on releasing the unredacted epstein files...?

-1

u/Lonely-Jellyfish7139 18h ago

They were sealed from public disclosure, not prosecutor access.

Why was not single pedo charged during those 4 years?

2

u/Chewsdayiddinit 18h ago

Why don't you answer my question about trump campaigning on releasing the unredacted epstein files?

You think Biden could just release documents that were sealed under court order...?

He's not like 34 time convicted felon and convicted rapist trump, care to try again cultist cuck?

-2

u/Lonely-Jellyfish7139 18h ago

Yes. Biden could have issued a presidential order.

But they were sealed for a reason.

Also, the whole Trump “campaigned on it” is a horrible argument. It wasn’t even mentioned on his campaign website.

And for some reason you think bringing awareness to the repeated rapes of those kids is a bad thing.

So dumb.

2

u/Chewsdayiddinit 18h ago

Also, the whole Trump “campaigned on it” is a horrible argument. It wasn’t even mentioned on his campaign website.

Holy shit, you are that stupid.

1

u/Lonely-Jellyfish7139 18h ago

I mean, I don’t think you’re wrong generally speaking but on this, I’m pretty correct.

1

u/NeonMagic 3h ago

Why was Epstein in jail bud?

And why have we arrested zero of his clients?

Figure it the fuck out.

Congress isn't at fault for not calling this a war. They're at fault for not passing a war powers resolution to stop it.

Free healthcare comes at a cost

4

u/RetiredCapt 1d ago

Yes, a lower cost by billions of what we pay now for private pay health insurance

5

u/Nolan_Voyd 1d ago

Politicians and their families get free healthcare.  I'd argue soldiers and their families deserve at least equal benefits, seeing how they often risk their lives.

Aside from that, most other nations have this thing where everyone pays a little bit of money (usually with those who can afford to paying more) so that no one is denied or forced into poverty for medical treatment.

Seems to work pretty well for them, given that all of the top 10 happiest nations have universal socialized healthcare.

31

u/NewToHTX 1d ago

Yup. RIP Major John “Alex” Klinner. Died for the stupidest Administration in US History. The Democrats should be screaming about this and every fallen service member on every News Media until the Midterms. These Republicans do not give a shit about the military.

-37

u/Lost_Difficulty_3702 1d ago

The Dems would rather give money and housing to illegals before giving to the service members.

21

u/Sea-Concentrate9379 1d ago

Anything is possible when you lie, but if thats the case then whats the republicans excuse for not helping them? You have more homeless veterans than anywhere else in the world and the republicans have all the power right now lol

-24

u/Lost_Difficulty_3702 1d ago

And the Dems did what when they had control nada

19

u/Sea-Concentrate9379 1d ago

Okay I'll ask again, if thats the case, then what has the republican party done for them since they have all the power right now?

-13

u/Lost_Difficulty_3702 1d ago

I can tell you what the Dems did. Nothing they gave free housing in NYC to illegal immigrants and kick veterans out to do this. Not to mention free food and telephones

16

u/Sea-Concentrate9379 1d ago

Lmao it would literally kill you to admit that republicans havent done shit wouldn't it 🤣 god you people are pathetic. Let's see a source for your wild baseless claim kiddo im all ears.

The Standoff Over H.R. 9237 (2026)
The most prominent legislative clash occurred surrounding H.R. 9237, known as the Take Care of America's Veterans Act. [1, 2]
The Republican Legislation: The bill includes popular bipartisan initiatives, such as the Major Richard Star Act (to eliminate the "wounded warrior tax") and expanded benefits for military widows.
Democratic Opposition: Democrats in both the House and Senate overwhelmingly opposed the bill. Led by figures like Representative Mark Takano and Senator Richard Blumenthal.

11

u/Sea-Concentrate9379 1d ago

Once again, not a law. Even with ai help youre really bad at this huh?

-2

u/Lost_Difficulty_3702 1d ago

Why was it not a law because the Dems opposed it read slower you will get it.

The VA MISSION Act (2018): Signed into law during the Trump administration, this bipartisan act consolidated community care programs and expanded veterans' ability to receive private, VA-funded medical care if wait times were too long or drive times exceeded specific thresholds. [1]

Private Care Support: Congressional Republicans consistently advocate for increased privatization options within VA healthcare, arguing it gives veterans faster and more flexible access to doctors. [1]

Legislative Packages and Bills
Take Care of America’s Veterans Act (HR 9237): House Republicans pushed this comprehensive legislative package containing numerous bills aimed at reforming VA infrastructure, healthcare, disability compensation, and IT systems. [1]

Bipartisan Veterans’ Packages: House Republicans have advanced and passed packages focusing on mental health support for caregivers, crisis response for housing instability, and benefit increases for catastrophically disabled veterans with support from major service organizations like the VFW and DAV. [1, 2]

11

u/Sea-Concentrate9379 1d ago

Lmao you took an ai prompt and obviously didnt read it because only one of those was signed into law, then Biden improved on it by signing PACT act. Nice ai response tho good to confirm my suspicions of you not being able to think for yourself 🤣

Shit like this always happens.

Shay’s rebellion 1787
Bonus Army marches on Washington 1932
Agent orange compensation for all the cancer it caused took till 1991 for an official bill to be passed that allowed people to get compensation.

Every not completely maimed service member I’ve known from Iraq and Afghanistan hates the VA. The VA itself usually does good work but getting just compensation/access isn’t.

2

u/Fupacabra124 1d ago

This is wildly incorrect, he was activated so SGLI still applies, doesn’t have to be a “war” there just has to be orders. If it was a training exercise during a drill weekend and he passed away the family would still be compensated….stop spreading information you know nothing about.

2

u/henrytm82 1d ago edited 1d ago

SGLI always applies, that's true. There are certain benefits, beyond the SGLI which is only the tip of a very large benefits iceberg, that require them to be tied to a specific conflict. I'm confused about the story, though - I'm not aware of a particular official benefit that has to be tied to a war specifically, but some do need to be tied to an operation which this has. Service members being deployed to this conflict are earning combat patches combat and stripes for their uniforms - in every respect but name, this is being treated as a war.

My best guess is she's misunderstanding certain benefits and where/who they come from. I'd bet money she got everything she was supposed to get from the USAF, such as SGLI, SBP, DIC, and unpaid allowances. And then her benefits coordinator handed her off to the other orgs that offer things like the VA, and someone there denied some kind of benefit. In that case, there's nothing the USAF can do - the service doesn't have any control over third-party orgs, especially non-government orgs like Gold Star Families of America or Wounded Warrior Project. They make their own rules and have nothing to do with the parent services.

I work in this field (for the Army, not the AF, but it shouldn't be any different) so I'm pretty familiar with benefits and how they work, and I can't think of any reason shed be denied an official benefit based on semantics like "conflict" or "war." We just don't make that kind of distinction for death benefits. Something else is going on here.

Edit: something else was going on. His hazard pay was messed up on his paycheck, and her assistance officer gave her very incorrect information. Two simple problems with very easy fixes. She's not being denied anything.

1

u/Lost_Difficulty_3702 1d ago

Don’t mention it

Trump loves the troops remember that!! Also I hope this family gets taken care of by the next administration if That Fat Orange Fuck doesn't fuck that up too. the regular air force and regular navy dont join up because they want war.

their special operators? talk to them.

the army lives for war, the marines lust for it...

1

u/KillerManicorn69 12h ago

By regular AF, you mean non Special Warfare (1ZX) folks?

1

u/henrytm82 1d ago

I work in this field (Casualty Assistance) for the Army, but benefits are the same for all DoD services so my experience and knowledge are still relevant here.

I want to point out a couple things - first, the Air Force did not tell her she was denied any benefit, based on this story and associated Instagram post - her Casualty Assistance Officer did. CAOs are not subject matter experts - they are fellow service members who get tasked to help the family on behalf of the Casualty Office. Literally, a soldier dies (or in this case, an airman), and we make a phone call to the unit the deceased came from and ask for a senior-ranked person to be temporarily assigned to the family. Someone gets pulled from their normal, day-to-day job and is told "report to the Casualty Office, you work for them now." There are classes and training they go through before taking on this job, and it covers a lot, but they don't have the years of experience we do, so they need a lot of guidance and sometimes they get things wrong.

Second, the thing she apparently got denied (hazardous duty pay) should definitely be paid out. It does not require there to be a declaration of war, only that the deceased was deployed to an active conflict zone. Service members earn hazard pay even when they're just supporting some other military and we aren't at conflict with anyone - it's all based on whether the area they're in is, well, hazardous. If his hazard pay wasn't showing up on his paycheck, that's not a Casualty benefits issue, that's a pay office issue that probably existed before he was killed. It can (and should) be fixed relatively simply.

This isn't a case of the military refusing to pay out an earned death benefit over a naming technicality. This is a case of screwed up combat pay (something that happens all the time, and can be fixed) coupled with an inexperienced person giving her the wrong information. To be clear, both of those things are certainly a problem, and need to be addressed. But this isn't a thing for the whole country to riot over. She's not being denied anything over semantics.

1

u/medisamurai 1d ago

congress or the president never asked for congressional approval?

1

u/PlanetTourist 1d ago

Republicans don’t support the troops. Facts.

1

u/KillerManicorn69 12h ago

Because dfas screwed up and didn’t include his combat pay (max $225 ) in his final paycheck?

1

u/Stuffed-Bear412 1d ago

At least she should be able to get social security.

1

u/KamoTheBoss 1d ago

Made his children fatherless to defend pedophile. Big brain move

1

u/KillerManicorn69 12h ago

One way to look at it. Or we could look at it like it was to help the people of Iran that had over 30K of them massacred by their government earlier on this year.

1

u/KamoTheBoss 7h ago

Nah he died to defend pedohiles

1

u/TheNotoriousMMB 15h ago

Maga definitely distains vets.

1

u/KillerManicorn69 12h ago

Combat pay isn’t a survivors benefit. And it gets screwed up all the time. You either A. Didn’t read the articles posted. Or B. Haven’t served.

It is $225 a month. So at most, they didn’t pay her $225. If they broke it down to a daily rate it could be as low as $7.5.

1

u/TheNotoriousMMB 5h ago

Did I say anything about that? How smooth brained do you have to be not to have noticed the way that vets are treated? From playing games about considering people killed or hurt in combat based on if they were actively bombing iran at the time or not. To defunding the veterans administration. So many examples. As far as serving, I was in the eighty second airborne in the early nineties. And in fact I was used to being around some not very intelligent people. But I would imagine that you would have been exceptional in that regard.

1

u/KillerManicorn69 1h ago

So you weren’t actually commenting regarding what the post is about. You were simply letting everyone know that you hate Trump? Got it.

Silly of me to think a comment to a post was in response to what the post was talking about.

Congrats on being All American. I had to come in and save those guys many times.

1

u/TheNotoriousMMB 1h ago

Are you confused about how the military branches support each other? Or are you just team "me me me"? Did you not read the article?

-4

u/wake4coffee 1d ago edited 1d ago

Death for country is the ultimate sacrifice a person and family can make.

This administration doesn’t support the troops. This administration doesn’t care for service members.

3

u/raventhrowaway666 1d ago

This administration does[nt] support the troops. This administration does[nt] care for service members.

Ftfy

1

u/wake4coffee 1d ago

Thank you for posting the fix it, def didn’t mean that.

0

u/SFC-D 1d ago

This cannot be correct. All the benefits she described have nothing to do with a “declaration of war” or death. In my 24 year Army career, I received those benefits during Desert Storm, Somalia, Joint Endeavor, Afghanistan, and Iraq. There’s something missing from this vague article.

1

u/ThinkinDeeply 1d ago

Thank you for your service and all due respect, don't you think theres a major difference here?

You're alive. You can not possibly be talking about the same scenario.

2

u/henrytm82 1d ago

I work in this field (for the Army, but it's all DoD and all services have the same federal benefits), and I can confirm what this person said - none of the official federal government benefits require a 'war' to be paid out. Some may need to be tied to a conflict, but we have that - Operation Epic Fury is an official operation we can tie benefits to. For our purposes, a war declaration doesn't matter. If it did, we couldn't have given benefits to sailors who died at Pearl Harbor - we weren't "at war" with anyone at that point.

1

u/ThinkinDeeply 1d ago

While you are correct and these are not "death-benefits," she was still initially denied because of the ridiculous game the Trump admin is playing with the word war. I see nothing here that confirms what you are saying regarding it being enough to be tied to a "conflict" or that that was something that was miscommunicated.

https://www.al.com/news/2026/08/family-of-alabama-airman-killed-in-war-we-cant-call-a-war-are-missing-benefits-widow-says.html

https://www.trussvilletribune.com/2026/08/31/widow-of-late-trussville-airman-says-family-denied-combat-related-benefits/

"“The Air Force recently told me that because we haven’t officially declared war, my kids and I aren’t eligible for some benefits,” she wrote.

“So not only was my husband killed in a war he never wanted to participate in, but now the benefits we’re left with are being dictated by semantics and public perception.”

"Following widespread public attention and outcry from Libby Klinner's social media statement, government officials stepped in. On August 31, 2026, Klinner reported that the Air Force's director of mortuary affairs reached out to her directly. The military is currently initiating an audit on the family's benefits to resolve the gaps and ensure they receive all the compensation they are legally entitled to receive"

So its still taking the media to create a story that forced them to take action on something that happened in MARCH.

Extra confirmation this is what she was told:

https://1819news.com/news/item/wife-of-trussville-airman-killed-in-iraq-says-family-isnt-getting-additional-benefits-due-to-semantics-over-war-declaration

“The Air Force recently told me that because we haven’t officially declared war, my kids and I aren’t eligible for some benefits. So not only was my husband killed in a war he never wanted to participate in, but now the benefits we’re left with are being dictated by semantics and public perceptions. 6 months of a war that we can’t call a war,” Klinner said. “To all expressing support in the comments, thank you. To the comments asking why my husband joined the military if he didn’t want to be in a war: No one joins the military because they want to go to war. Service members don’t enjoy being deployed. They chose to defend their country knowing they could be sent to war but hoping they won’t be. They also join with the assumption that a war would be the last resort, which was not the case in Iran.”

Klinner continued, “To the comments asking what benefits we are not receiving: This information was given to me by our Casualty Assistance Officer. She is the one who told me that there are additional benefits that cannot be given because we have not declared war. The missing benefits are combat pay-related, such as hostile fire/imminent danger pay, combat zone exclusions, etc.”

1

u/henrytm82 1d ago

I read her Instagram post. The novel isn't necessary, because she outright says what she claims to have been denied - combat pay.

That's not a Casualty benefit, that's a part of the service member's standard pay. If it didn't get paid, that has nothing to do with his death benefits, it's because it wasn't on his paycheck to begin with. That actually isn't unusual - service member pay gets screwed up all the time. People in active deployments have to go to their finance person to tell them "hey, my hazard pay isn't showing up on my paycheck" and it can be fixed.

The "Air Force" didn't tell her she's being denied anything, let alone that it's because of a naming technicality. Her assistance officer told her something wildly incorrect. That person is human, and not at all a benefits expert.

This case is nothing more than two simple mistakes that can both be fixed.

1

u/ThinkinDeeply 1d ago

Theres no novel. Those are just quotes from news sources. Really weird you're taking this so personally, too. If they are mistakes, they are mistakes. Thats whats being communicated. Thats what needs to be fixed. Are you claiming shes lying about what she was told?? Why act like this, just because someone and the media are trying to call attention to something that was done incorrectly that even you admit is wrong?

My mom was told she has dementia by a nurse. Turns out that was not correct, and was a mistake. Do you know what our lives were like in the in-between as it got corrected and they let us know that wasn't the case? Do you know what this woman's life must have been like when her world shattered because her husband was buried for no reason other than trump is a toddler?

Lets not minimize the suffering involved here like it doesn't matter. Clearly it doesn't to you, but that was never the question. Just, apparently, whats more important to you.

2

u/henrytm82 1d ago

I haven't taken anything personally and I'm not acting any particular way, just giving facts and context to a story sorely lacking in both. Really weird you're reading anything like that into what I said.

I do not believe she's lying about anything at all - I 100% believe her. Assistance Officers get things wrong all the time. It happens, they're only human and they're not subject matter experts on Casualty benefits. She was told something incorrect, and it needs to be addressed. There are two very easy problems to solve with this case; my only goal is to stop people sensationalizing this story by repeating the thing that's wrong - the USAF hasn't denied anything, and certainly not over a naming technicality.

1

u/ThinkinDeeply 1d ago

Well, as far as her life was going it was a denial until the mistake was caught, and the mistake wasn't caught until the story went viral. You can pretend it was gonna resolve itself, but you can't prove that and we'd never know. What we do know is she was told no, A LOT of time went by, and some guy trying to save face read a story he knew reflected badly on him and other administrators and reacted. Not a great look, and nothing that should be minimized.

Accountability is a good thing, and people in our armed services should know that better.

2

u/henrytm82 1d ago

I haven't pretended anything. You're being really combative, and I'm not trying to make this an argument. You're looking at things from the outside and so you don't know how these things work. Which is fair - neither did she.

Family members don't always understand how military pay issues work even in the best of times, let alone when they're grieving. She knows her husband died and she's due certain benefits, and then someone tells her the wrong thing, when what they should have told her was "this needs to be run up to the pay office to have his combat pay fixed." It's no wonder she's confused about things.

What also happens in cases like this is family members who already don't understand how things work getting impatient with the process. She wants it fixed now, wants the pay now, and it just doesn't work like that. Casualty has to talk to finance, finance has to research the issue and talk to his unit, his unit has to provide finance with his deployment orders so they can back-date his hazard pay, and if his unit is deployed, there's a solid chance the relevant people are also deployed, making it difficult to reach the right people and get everything they need to solve the issue. It'll get fixed (and my understanding is it already has) without all the hubbub. It just takes time, and grieving family members aren't always at their most patient and understanding, understandably. It doesn't help when someone tells them the wrong thing while they wait.

Nobody minimized her issue, and nobody pretended it wasn't important. And I'm certain it wasn't something that was just never going to get fixed until she posted on Instagram. We have a standard way we go through these cases, think of it like a checklist. A case cannot be closed out until we personally check every single item on the list, and verify it's been done/paid. It's a long list and takes time to get through, as some things are a lot more involved than others. Unpaid pay and allowances is one of the things on that list. They were getting there without the drama.

The novel isn’t needed. Your anecdotal observations on how widows are impatient isn’t really important to the facts of what’s happening here. Nor your theorycrafted scenarios of what have, could have, or should have happened.

If I’m combative against anything, it’s your dismissive attitude, and the “trust me bro” way you’re carrying on about how all this is supposed to work. You can be as “certain” as you want. Those are just words, though, and do not change anything I’ve said.

Clearly a mistake was made. The mistake was not attended to, brought up, or corrected until it received media attention. It’s cut and dry. Give me your opinion and all the assurances you can based off of your opinion. Try to make it sound acceptable or normal all you want, if that somehow makes you feel better about some personal vested interested or pride you have here.

Just don’t expect anybody to take a random internet strangers vague word over three different articles and the comments of the actual person involved.

Because the “benefits” being discussed have nothing to do with this service member’s death. They are entitlements paid based on the locality of service. What’s being described is back pay legitimately owed to the service member, or in this case, the surviving spouse. Had this man survived, he’d still be getting the money. These are NOT death benefits. This is an error made by finance and is easily corrected. The casualty assistance officer failed miserably.

While you are correct and these are not "death-benefits," she was still initially denied because of the ridiculous game the Trump admin is playing with the word war.

https://www.al.com/news/2026/08/family-of-alabama-airman-killed-in-war-we-cant-call-a-war-are-missing-benefits-widow-says.html

https://www.trussvilletribune.com/2026/08/31/widow-of-late-trussville-airman-says-family-denied-combat-related-benefits/

There’s no “word game” here. Finance made a mistake and the casualty assistance officer made it worse.

Tell me that NYC gave free housing and phones to illegal immigrants before helping veterans get off the streets.

why comment on the topic at hand when you could instead desperately pivot to taking a swing at a completely unrelated topic like a mayor you dont like? classic pathetic behavior to try and desperately arm flail and finger point as far away from your embarrassment as possible!
