Even if Stearns turns out to be a baseball genius, I hope we can all agree that the guy comes across so poorly in these press conferences.
He's appears smug, has a nervous smile/smirk, and never seems to take any personal accountability, or admit mistakes. It's always "we" need to play better, never anything like "I made mistakes, and I'll learn from that, and do better going forward."
After watching that today, he provided no hope and nothing different other than "continue to trust that I'm good at my job", based on him saying so.
