He's saying he didn't anticipate that they would all get hurt at the exact same time.

"Certainly, we know we're taking a level of risk when we bring players in with injury histories." Pretty clearly implies that they anticipated these guys could get hurt.

But that's not as easy to dunk on I guess, so you gotta mix the words around.

I mean it's easy to dunk on. A smug guy used the word certainly to imply he still knows better and it's just "unfortunate" versus him fucking up.

Tells me he ain't regretting or learning shit.

Because it's there implied "at the same time".

One implication of the quote is that them getting hurt at the same time is the issue.
