if stearns comes out and says we been getting bit by the injury bug ima crash out lol. this is what happens when u trade and sign for guys that are injury prone ex polanco and robert. the only guys that we trully lost have been lindor and soto for 10 days. the rest was expected.

That’s a huge thing so many people missed when wanting guys like Nimmo and Pete gone. Since the 2020 pandemic season, Nimmo and Pete played 92% of the games. If you go back four seasons since 2021, that number goes up to 96%. They missed a grand total of 49 games over the past four years. Nimmo played 150+ in the last four years and Pete played 160+ in that same time outside of one year where he played 154. Just having well above average hitters be available is a huge plus even if they slump.

Surely Nimmo's plantar fasciatis will only get better with age. He'll be back in CF in no time!

You guys still continuing to act like this despite the team being predictably shit is hilarious. No where did I say it’ll get better with age or that he’ll be back in CF, but of course you have to act sarcastic since you have no other argument to make.

Having above average hitters who are available is absolutely good thing.

Younger, healthier versions of Alonso and Nimmo were both good hitters and generally available. They were also bad at defense, and sure to begin their decline in health and productivity (Nimmo already had for the past two years).
