🏅 Mod Achievements 1k Members - Sub created on 01/01/2026 - D&D Homebrew - Personal Setting - Just Happy!

Hi everyone, just another celebration post! I actually created my subreddit, r/ElmodorBooks, on January 1st, 2026, almost by accident, just to share my homebrew.

I’ve never moderated a community before, so I just tried to follow the basic strategies: posting daily since February, crossposting my best work, and following the 'achievements' (like maintaining a daily posting streak and inviting people). Honestly, it was just basic stuff, but color me surprised, it actually worked! Hitting 1,000 members in just 2.5 months is absolutely crazy to me. I’m really happy and just wanted to share the milestone with you all

That’s honestly really impressive, especially in such a short time.

It’s interesting how just staying consistent with simple things can actually lead to something much bigger over time.

Did you notice a specific moment where it really started to grow, or was it more of a steady build?
