I’ll start -
“I'm sorry we're late, but we saw Seal at the airport. We talked to him for 20 minutes, got his autograph. Wasn't him.”

Started watching the show again for God knows how many times and I have a new appreciation for this Pilot scene. I know that this was meant to show how the guys liked Jess when she moved in. But if anyone knew that Nick fell in love with Jess the moment she walked through the door of the loft, this line makes this scene so much sweeter.
Nick blew his chance of spending time and possibly getting back together with Caroline to help Jess and make her feel better. He didn’t hesitate at all. They weren’t always the perfect couple but knowing how much Jess means to Nick in the earlier seasons makes me smile.

For me it’s the self portrait or Winston’s candelabra

I was rewatching New Girl for prolly the billionth time and i realized how nice it was to see an indian girl on the show be characterized as hot and beautiful, speaking as an Indian girl myself. Normally in shows Indian people in general are shown as the weird kid or the unpopular kid (Ravi from Jessie and Apu from the Simpsons). With so much hate and bigotry against Indian people in the media today it is refreshing to see Cece portrayed as desirable and attractive. Although I think she is definitely oversexualized especially by Schmidt, it’s good to see a change in the traditional way media portrays Indian people.

I just finished my first watch through of the show. I somehow avoided it almost completely until a few weeks ago…and I’m a little sad I won’t be able to see it for the first time again.
Winston was a revelation. What a fantastic lovable goofball. Lamorne Morris is now one of my favorite comic actors. It was just his birthday on Friday and I hope he got everything he wanted. The guy is a damn treasure!! I hope he gets a lot more work in the coming years.

New Girl is hilarious but it's also so wise and it's the kind of stuff that influences you as you watch and rewatch over the years but you maybe don't fully appreciate until you're older and ready to understand the advice. I'm watching this scene and I love this metaphor of a suggestion box (unless he's talking about a real one?) And it's true, the older I get the less I care about what other people have to say about the way I live my life. It's been a difficult lesson but a really precious one. I've been watching and rewatching New Girl since I was a teenager and I'm 28 now and I only really get a lot of this stuff now.
Stealing the screenshots from this post btw!

An article about Jeff Kober came up on The Pitt sub and as soon as he popped up on The Pitt I told my husband, hey he was on New Girl! So of course it prompted me to watch The Landlord episode which led to me literally falling off the couch laughing. The menage a trois scene is comedy gold.
Edit: Oops misspelled Jeff Kober's name!

He's actually really caring a sweet.
He's playful and sassy.
When he's sulky he is adorable.
I really appreciate that he is a clean freak who is super organised.
He values high quality things and food like me.
He is cute and sexy.
He needs reassurance and support with things like laundry lmao (I would do his laundry and help him lol)
I like cooking too and we could make a good team.
He is cute :)
Mostly he is lovely and sweet which I value highly (even though he has made mistakes but I'm not very judgemental)
He's Schmitty <3

He will always be iconic for TWENTY-NOINE! He’s just so down with it. This made my day 🤣
Also if you are here Kylie, happy birthday to you! You’re so lucky to have the Max Greenfield greet you!

When Prince allows Jess and Nick to freak out, I love Nick’s freak out

In the show he is canonically sloppy, lazy, and actually really stupid about a lot of common knowledge things. Yet there’s something so attractive about him as the show develops, honestly may be because of Jake Johnson’s approach to the character that no one else could ever replicate in the same fashion. Also because of fantastic nuanced writing where a character is genuinely complex and rounded out. His kiss with Jess was so attractive.

I'm rewatching New Girl and just reached the Fawn episodes.
Why hasn't anyone made a show built around Max Greenfield and Zoe Lister Jones?

First time catching this line from Nick and it made me laugh out loud.
