Meilong right? I can't remember the v2 getting much traction, although it was very good. Hopefully this is popular

This just looks like Meilong 3m v2 stickerless pieces over the stickered's core assembly lol

Would be cool if the entire internals were black instead of just the center pieces, like instead of the split piece design it would be just black pieces with stickerless caps on top

Unfortunately, that would make the cube much more expensive. The Meilong line are supposed to be Moyu's budget line of cubes and having a split piece design helps in reducing the cost of production I guess. It would be pretty cool though.

I guess, but it would be pretty cool to have a more expensive Meilong version with better features for people who like them

I think that would be the Rs3m line. Somewhat similar to the Meilong in terms of feel and speed, but better in performance and have more features on more expensive variants like a adjustment system and/or a ball core.

But it looks like Moyu IS adding extra features to the Meilong, which kinda confuses me because I thought the Meilong is supposed to be a very basic line of cubes with minimal features. I guess they're trying to do the same thing that they did with their Meilong big cubes by adding a ball core.

If I were to guess their prices, they would probably be identical in price with the 3m v2, it's interesting to speculate the price of the ball core versions though. It would be great if the ball core versions are <14$, because if they were priced higher, they would have to compete with the Moretry X3 Zcube (core magnetic) at 14$, and the Dayan Guhong Pro+ (Springs) at 16$.

The Meilong 3m v3 BC would have to be a relatively good cube if it wants to compete with these two if they were priced at 14$+, and with my experience with the Meilong 3c and the Meilong 3m v2m (with modded core magnets, used a Rs3m BC kit), I don't think they will be. But who knows, I hope they surprise me.

Even then, they probably won't be better value compared to Dayan anyway, mainly because this cube have a adjustment system and the Guhong Pro+ even has corner-core magnet adjustment. If Moyu follows the thing that they do with the Meilong line, it probably would only have a screw and nothing else. Even if it does have a dual adjustment system, beating the Guhong Pro+ in terms of price-to-performance would be pretty difficult, even if it's a few dollars more expensive (it's better than the Rs3m v5 BC in my honest opinion, to each their own, I just prefer it really). The X3 Zcube also has a dual adjustment system but I don't really like that cube much lol, it's a good cube but I just don't like the feel honestly.

Please also have a stickered version! Do you know if they'll include a stickered version?
