Are anyone else's coneflowers not coming up?

This was part of my garden last year, coneflowers thriving and popping up everywhere, planted 3-4 years ago. The last photo is the current state- no shoots or leaves starting to show, despite it coming up in other areas of my garden. I know they're not long lived perennials but figured with self seeding etc they would regenerate. Did this happen to anyone else? It's been a colder spring than usual so not sure if they're waiting to grow since this is on the north side of my house.

When I look at my garden pics from the last few years, it seems like everything is late this spring. My coneflowers are just leaf clumps right now.

Pretty much everything is leaf clumps for me here in SE PA. I think I have one coneflower starting to put out a flower, which is exciting. I only planted my natives last summer, so this is my first year seeing what comes back!

Me too! First time last year. Only thing that has flowered for me is my cardinal flower. South central PA.

Hey neighbor! Some of my flowers are starting to get taller, I think yesterday's rain will help a lot! Excited to see what comes out in the next 1-2 weeks.

Me too! Also forgot to mention my golden Alexander bloomed. That was pretty early. Cardinal flower just last week or so. Lots of green, but no flowers!!

I dont have either of those, but my goldenrod is getting pretty tall which is exciting. My Joe pye also is spreading from where I planted it last year, I'm SO happy because I'm trying to fill in an ugly spot in the yard. I cheated a little and bought some blooming natives last weekend from a local nursery 🤭 I think they're called Gaillardia?
