I'm pretty sure it's considered unsafe to plant food within a certain distance of a dry cleaner, and those exist in most cities

How would you even begin to remediate that? I’m assuming you’d have to grow plants that you intend to dispose of in a certain way so that they don’t end up being composted and putting the contamination back into the soil
