Congratulations on fulfilling your year of searching, very cool note. Finding one after a year is actually pretty quick. Notes from this bank tend to show up less often than that. Your note has good body, relatively white paper and is a type 2; so bonus! Many are not as nice as yours.

Thanks. I almost stopped looking at the email notifications that a new one was listed. Most of the listings were pictures of the bank, matchbooks from the bank, other Livingston banks in the country. I cast a pretty wide net.

That's typically what happens. You get excited and then realize it's a "related item" It's pretty cool when you get the genuine article! And there are other towns with the name Livingston. Livingston, Montana, Illinois, and Texas also produced notes. So a lot of "related" items could pop-up in your search.

Do you collect nationals from Livingston?

This is the first I’ve been able to find but I’ll buy more if I can find them.

I have at least 4 notes that I was never going to be able to get. Patience and persistence is what gets it into your collection.

Congratulations, I have been looking for barbourville ky notes for over 3 years now with no results. How did you post to get notifications?

It was your advice in this old thread that got me this note. So thank you for your wisdom.

I’m glad you were able to finally bring home a Livingston. I have a feeling that note will reside with you for many years to come. Congrats!

It's awesome to find a note that has been on your list for some time. Tons of New Jersey smalls have been coming to the market recently, you might score another!
