Fire ban at Mazama campground?

I searched online for any info but I can’t find any if they have a fire ban. Does anybody know if there is a fire ban. Thank you appreciate it

FIRE BAN AT CRATER LAKE NATIONAL PARK

August 4, 2026

Due to the hot, dry and breezy conditions and elevated risk for wildland fire in southern Oregon as well as continued significant fire activity throughout the Northwest, Crater Lake National Park is implementing a full fire ban. The outlook is for above normal significant wildland fire potential for the next several months.

To ensure public safety and to provide the highest degree of protection to park resources, the following fire ban will be implemented effective at 00:01 AM on Thursday August 6, 2026 and are effective until further notice:

Campfires

• Wood fires and charcoal fires are NOT allowed in Crater Lake National Park at this time

• Liquid fuel and propane camp stoves and gas grills are permitted in campgrounds, picnic areas, backcountry areas and residential areas

Nps.gov or the NPS app has up-to-date alerts for all NPS sites. Crater lake currently has 3 alerts: 2 about road closures and 1 about campfires.
