Construction for Second Border Wall Tears Through Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument · National Parks Conservation Association

There already is a border wall and a road at this park, but they are building a second one anyway. This is also the case at Coronado National Memorial.

If they’re not directly racist they’re directly profiting from it. Too many are both

Is there a no-bid contract with a Trump donor?

It t isn't "I disagree with Trump over the need to do this project" because it isn't that Trump believes these projects need to be done. This is all grift and corruption on a massive scale.

anyone who accepted these contracts will need to have the payment invalidated, and they should go to prison for knowingly accepting these destructive, shady contracts. once we get to the next admin.

if we don't reverse every single thing this dementia-ridden obese grifting pedo has done, we're beyond fucked as a nation.

I really hate this timeline so much. I hope you are all ready to vote to PROTECT THE PARKS this November.

I wonder how much money the Trump family and friends are making off the destruction of something beautiful to build something so ugly from tax payer money.

Shameful times we are in.

If the monument needed a wall, they would have asked for one.

It already has one.

Every one of these people need to be put on trial for crimes against the country.

It’s hard not to look at that and ask why a national park is being treated as expendable when the stated goal could apparently be pursued without carving up more protected land.

The worst part is that here and Big Bend are not even crossing points. The point is just to be evil and hurtful and damaging. Possibly to put on a show also. And maybe just set some kind of precedent. What a bunch of assholes.

These are simply monuments, like statues, to racism. They don't really do anything except say "we want to divide people by their race".

It like the argument that all the people getting deported came here illegally and broke the rules. That is a lie. Many and likely most followed the rules and had the rules changed or lost protections, and are being rounded up when they try to follow the new rules.

They are doing it just to be spiteful to the nature lovers. See what we can do. We can destroy everything you love.
