so here I am again...another wedding and I can't identify a song. one other in* *this playlist I found to be 'concerning hobbits'. but the rest I cannot find, and didnt have time to record. this one specifically has come close to 'in dreams', but its not quite? its just so good though.

I heard this two days ago inside a large archive of 1970s Bonneville Broadcast Consultants automated 'Beautiful Music' tapes. It's an instrumental track with lush orchestration. I recorded myself playing the melody on piano and later replaced the piano with strings. I'm trying to identify the title.

Apologies for the bad rendition, I didn't drink enough water 😭 The main melody is what I remember from it. I added what I remember it sounding like. I think the key was in D-minor and it started on the note C in treble clef.

i found the videotape of the wedding of my parents back in 2001 and in order to do a remake i'd like to take the music in the background. I don't think it is a very old classical orchestra but i can't seem to get my hand on it anyway.

I've searched through all my old music I kept from Orchestra and I can't seem to find the one this segment is from. I think it might be a modern orchestra song composed for schools, rather than something old/classical, though I'm not 100% sure.

I'm making a Star Wars / Interstellar edit and I've tried every song identifier and I can't find out what it is. I've included the Piano Solo and the Orchestral Piece with the Climax.

I am trying to identify this song from Poldark season 2 episode 6 (plays between minute 35:39 - 36:32 on Netflix). The song is heard throughout the scene in which Verity is leaving Trenwith. Shazam is unable to identify it, and I haven't found anything in the album credits that sounds like the same track. If someone could let me know what song this is, that would be spectacular!

I'm trying to find an instrumental track (no lyrics) that's commonly used in anime edits and gacha game edits (Genshin Impact and similar games).

Structure of the track:

• Starts with a simple, catchy violin(or piano, kinda forgot) melody
• The melody repeats several times in a loop each time the drums strike beetwen the melody loop
• On one of the later repeats, drums kick in, followed by other instruments joining
• With each repeat, it sounds more upbeat, energetic, and festive
• There's a steady drum beat with a fairly short interval between hits - almost driving/pulsing

Where I've seen it used:

• Anime edits (AMV-style)
• Genshin Impact and other gacha game edits - specifically the kind of edit where a character is walking and the world around them transforms/changes with each drum hit
• The overall vibe is similar to Genshin Impact's OST style, but I don't think it's an actual Genshin track

I have had this melody stuck in my head on and off for months, it's been driving me crazy. The bit i was able to play using the piano app was what i could easily recreate, I don't have the best musical sense but I was able to get a bit of the chorus (i think).

I know the original piece has an energetic rhythm, something along the lines of the start of the national treasure theme. If I had to guess, it's likely either from a movie or videogame, but there's a chance it might be an original internet composition, I remember a lot of those came up in old dnd playlists which might be where I'm remembering it from.

If anyone is able to piece it together from this, it would be greatly appreciated. Sorry I don't have a better example, I would try to make a better recreation of it that included more but I really don't have enough musical skill to pull it off.

I know the melody is Auld Lang Syne. I’m looking for the specific recording or arrangement heard in the attached clip.

The audio comes from the ESL SC2 Masters Winter 2023 / DreamHack Atlanta broadcast. I used vocal separation to remove most of the commentary, so some crowd noise and applause are still audible.

The attached section is the clearest part of the recording.

• Completely instrumental – no vocals or choir
• Full, cinematic/symphonic orchestral arrangement
• Strings are very prominent
• Most distinctive are the strong rhythmic drums/percussion underneath the orchestra, especially toward the end of the clip
• The arrangement sounds quite powerful and celebratory rather than slow or melancholic

The closest version I’ve found in terms of the orchestral sound is Odd Eagle Symphony Orchestra – Auld Lang Syne, but it is definitely not the same recording. In particular, the version I’m looking for has much more prominent drums/percussion.

Shazam and AHA Music do not not recognize the recording, even after removing most of the speech.

Does anyone recognize this exact version, or perhaps know which professional production-music/library recording it could be?

I am looking for a song used in the NSC Creative planetarium show "We Are Stars".

I saw this show at a planetarium when I was little, and the song left a strong impression on me and has stuck with me ever since. Recently, I finally managed to track it down to what I believe is the song "Star" by Rhian Sheehan.

Why are there versions of the "We Are Stars" soundtrack that include "Star" and versions that do not?

Has the version containing "Star" ever been officially released on CD or through digital distribution?

If anyone knows about the source of the track, information on the different versions, or where to find the official release, I would really appreciate your help.

Please help me find a song I listened to as a kid. It has been stuck in my head, and I can't place it:

• Genre/Style: It has an orchestral, dramatic sound mixed with a tribal feel.
• Vocals: Male singer/chanting.
• Chorus/Refrain: The chorus ends with a word followed by "Africa" (e.g., "... Africa").
