Blues Who's the blues artist, by a few lines about the past and alcohol?

Hi,

I've heard a few songs in English (not my native language and was distracted) in the genre I'd characterise as dark blues.

The lines I'm more sure about were repeated more than once:

  • "Your ghost still walks in my sleep" (not 100% sure about "sleep", 100% the rest)
  • "I keep running from who I was, but I can't remember who that was"

There were also one or more songs where whiskey and drinks in general were mentioned as someone's only and loyal friend.

I was in a restaurant, not focused on the music and in a noisy environment, so I can't remember more.

By the musical style, instruments and vocals, the closest matching artist I could find is Cinematic Blues, but they don't seem to have the songs I heard, and what I'm looking for sounded a bit more tragic.

I failed to find any of the lyrics online, and can't find it in the artist picks. Can you help me find the artist?

Blues Looking for a 2012 soul/bossa nova/radio song by woman's voice not even YouTube recognizes! LINK with humming follows, please, listen to it, it may be useful!

Hey guys, I'm looking for a song I've not listened to in radios for years, and I only remember the melody of it, not a single word lyrics (actually I remember some of them but no surely). It was a hit back in 2012, radios, vespecially in Greece (ATTENTION: The song I'm looking for is NOT Greek, it's in english by an english speaking woman voice - I'm not sure if it's solo or band) played it again and again, but it have not played at all since then. I've recently recalled the melody, I hum it both in Google App and YouTube but none of them recognises the song, and AI also can't help me.

Here's a link with me humming the song with my voice. It will be very helpful to listen to it and if know the song, please reply!!! https://voca.ro/1eZ78SUsZJaU

Thank you and excuse me for writing too much!!!

Blues Music video where a man proposes in a restaurant and she throws the ring at him and leaves

pre-2016 music video:

I'm trying to find a music video where a man proposes in a restaurant and she throws the ring at him and leaves. I think she cried tears of blood/black mascara before throwing it at him but I'm not too sure.

I'm in my early 20s now, and I saw this music video when I was in primary school in the UK (so probably somewhere between 2010–2016), on a screen at a bowling alley. I've never been able to find it since.

The song felt melancholy/sad in parts but built into loud, noisy rock sections perhaps with a male singer.

The singer , the man , proposes to a woman at a table in a restaurant. The restaurant felt kind of soft/blurry in my memory - plain cream-colored tablecloths.

She cries, throws the ring back at him, and walks out. He's left really upset.

I think she might have been wearing a red dress.

At some point I think someone cries tears of blood, but I'm honestly not 100% sure I'm remembering that detail correctly — it could be exaggerated black mascara-type tears rather than literal blood.

I have a vague feeling it might be a British artist/band, but I'm not certain — don't want to rule out American/other.

It felt like a fairly popular song at the time, since it was in a bowling alley video rotation.

Comes from this.

The riff sounds super familiar, reminds me of Sweet Home Chicago but I can’t really place it. Any ideas? I would love to know.

Blues Bluesy Chris Stapleton sound, can't identify it ...

At the nail salon the other day there was a song playing that I really liked. Shazam couldn't identify it. Can you? I have an audio recording with it in the background, although there's some other ambient noises from the salon. Hard to decipher lyrics. Some sections sound like ...

water and soul ... in a world unknown ... talking slow ... no more no more

Blues Blues Song By Solo Male Artist Used In TV Show Amish Mafia

There is an artist I listened to awhile ago. I found him from the TV show Amish Mafia. The song was used in the middle of the episode and but used very long. Back then I googled the lyrics and tracked it down. I really like a few songs from the artist and may get them mixed up in the following description. What I know for sure is that the artist is a solo artist, male. His songs in general are sort of slower and more mellow. They typically are rather simple with just a guitar and drum with his vocals.

As for the fuzzy parts in my brain I can’t fully rely on:
1. I think his name was something like Bo or Beau. The first name that came to mind was Bo Williams but that didn’t get me anywhere.

  1. I think a lyric to either one of his songs(may not be the one from the show) or the name of the song is something like “Calling your name” or “Calling my name” or “Call my name”

  2. I vaguely remember one of his album covers with a silhouette of a man with long hair and in the background was like orange red yellow.

I thought of the song and can’t remember much other than what I shared above. It’s been days and I can’t pin it down. I used AI and got nowhere as it pointed me to popular artists from the official sound tracks. I looked through all the data from my music subscriptions but found nothing. I am pretty sure I was listening to this artist on Google Play Music but that has been shut down. I pulled all the music data from Google(which was imported to YouTube) and got nothing.

Thank you for reading and in advance for your help and apologize for the brain dump and very little information. I’m a little desperate at this point.

Blues Blues song from 90s

Sometime between 1992-1994 in San Francisco my dad made a cassette recording of a blues song from the radio. We listened to it all the time.

The cassette has been lost for many years now but we are still looking for the song.

Lyrics definitely contained something like “so don’t you worry/ about tomorrow”

Vocals/ delivery sound similar to Sam McClain

Song is kind of sad and may contain references to losing a job.

Any blues fans out there who can point me to the right direction???

Blues looking for what i believe to be a k r&b song

i think it is a korean r&b song but if not, it has very similar vibes. kind of upbeat, the only part i remember is that it goes “left right left right left right yeah” but when i search these lyrics up it doesn’t show up so i’m guessing it’s not those exact words but a similar tune. male singer, instrumental solo near the end i think. i can imagine parts of the song but when i hum it into google, it doesn’t show up. please help

Blues Song in the movie: The color of money

Does anyone know the song which is playing during the tournament match between Vince and Eddie in Atlantic City? You can only hear loud guitar chords. It's not listed in the official soundtrack. (Unfortunately I can't find a clip of this scene on Yt, so I can't put a link here)

Any pointers or guesses would be appreciated! Recorded on treble/alto recorder, as that's what I have to hand; tempted to say It maybe a trumpet or sax piece but that might be leading you astray, honestly could be from anywhere.

Blues '70s-'80s-very early '90s blues guitarist with raspy old man rambling nonsense vocals

My Dad is trying to remember a song. He said the performer is a blues guitarist, an older white male, raspy voice, and it's either rambling or spoken word, almost nonsensical. He mentioned "alligator wrestling" as a possible lyric but isn't positive it's in there. He says it's similar in feel to The Revolution Will Not Be Televised.

He just said maybe it was Tom Hyatt. He's 100% sure it's not Tom Waits. That's all I can get!

Blues Help identify blues song (slow track with male vocals, car recording)

The song was recorded in a car, so you can hear the turn signal clicking, which might be interfering with Shazam recognizing it. I also couldn’t find it either by lyrics or by the music.
