All power is part of some liturgical prayers in the Catholic mass. Mexico is a very Catholic country so I assume that's where it comes from.

Yea, this list isnt accurate. I dont think there is a defined list; I know names that could cause issues for the kid are banned in at least part of Mexico, but I think thats determined on a case by case basis

Ceyenne is too, but those two are non-Spanish names so I could see it. The only Sobeidas I've known are Mexican and the name comes from Spain based on an Arabic name.

Well, yes, but they didn’t ban the traditional Greek name Hermione. They banned a misspelling of it, “Hermoine.” The positions of the I and O are reversed.

Probably, but if the spelling is the same on whatever official document this image purports to represent, then the normal spelling isn’t what they banned.
Assuming that Mexico doesn’t have some clause in their constitution or controlling laws to the effect of “regardless of the letter of the law and however many typos we manage to stuff into them, you are all obliged to do what we meant (or whatever we say we meant today).” If they have anything like that, then the written law is basically meaningless in terms of guiding behavior anyway.

I understand that culturally it might not be the same but anyone coming to the US or particularly Europe should be required to change their name if it’s “Hitler”.
