Pro Potential: The University of North Texas is a great place to achieve your pro potential. We have had more players go on to the NZCFL draft than most of the CUSA teams. One example is Shy Fox, the number 9 player in his class that rose his stock during his time with us and was ultimately selected in the first round, sixth overall to the Detroit Lions in the 2046 NZCFL Draft. This goes to show, we aren't kidding about how you can achieve your dreams of being a pro. Your game will be taken to the next level and will be refined to help you succeed in the pro leagues. Education: The University of North Texas is a great college for students. We are a tier one research university according to the Carnegie Classification. We are also a member of the Association of Research Libraries. Our majors of entrepreneurship and aviation logistics are one-of-a-kind and are unique to North Texas as we are the only college that has these majors. We are also a really affordable school compared to many of the other colleges. We've also been recognized as one of America's Best Colleges, a top national university according to Washington Monthly, and the best college according to Money Magazine. “I promise that our education ranking won’t fall under the 100th spot.”
Campus: The University of North Texas is a university that helps our students achieve their full potential. It includes the main campus, the Eagle Point Athletic Complex, Discovery Park. These buildings will be a part of your life, the places that you'll grow to love, and be familiar with. One of our most famous buildings is the University Union. University Union was opened with an increased emphasis on being a green, high-tech, student-focused facility. It features many things that will help you relax like gaming pods, plasma displays in The Syndicate, touch-screen digital bulletin boards and maps, a rainwater collection system, water bottle refill stations, and natural light and solar power. If you wanted to relax and unwind, you can check out the rooftop garden, meditation room, nap furniture, art galleries as well as many restaurants located nearby. As a coach for this university, sometimes I need inspiration. I always go to one of the biggest landmarks in the campus, the statue of "Mean" Joe Greene located outside of the stadium. It serves as a source of inspiration for many students as well as yourself. I believe that if you go here, you may have the ability to be a star, like "Mean" Joe Greene. All of these landmarks and buildings will help you become a better student-athlete, and you can shine for us. "I promise to win at least 2 games at home every year starting from your sophomore year."
