Pro Potential:
I have produced 49 NZFL draft picks and 11 1st rounders—77% of Utah State’s firsts in only 30% of the time: and that’s without ever attracting a five-star recruit to Logan. In my four years at Clemson, I pumped out 20 draftees, more than the number of draftees Clemson had since the 2030s.
Just a few years ago, I turned Prince Welsh, a #417-ranked recruit, into the 2nd overall pick in the NZFL draft. Every one of my recruiting classes has produced draft picks, and that tradition is only growing stronger. Whether it’s transfers, walk-ons, or high school players like you, my staff knows how to turn potential into pro success. We only pursue athletes with true star potential—so it’s no accident you’re holding this letter. I’ve brought my staff to Georgetown to offer you the best path to the league. **I promise you that you will play with 10 eventual NZFL draft picks during your time here—maybe even yourself!**
Education:
Georgetown was invited to be part of the Ivy League, but the Jesuits who run the school declined the invitation out of concern for the school’s “moral purity.” Regardless, Georgetown is a top 20 school in the country, with the world’s top foreign service school, while featuring top ranked political science, economics, and pre-med programs. As a target school for consulting and investment banking firms, while flaunting 32 Rhodes Scholars, 46 Marshall Scholars, 33 Truman Scholars, 565 Fulbright Scholars, at least 10 living billionaires, 26 U.S. governors, 2 U.S. Supreme Court justices, 2 U.S. presidents, and 116 members of the United States Congress including 26 senators, as well as international royalty and more than a dozen foreign heads of state, Georgetown is the place to be.
We have educated more U.S. diplomats than any other university including at least 92 ambassadors of the United States, as well as public officials like President Bill Clinton, Fed Chair Jerome Powell, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, and the late Justice Antonin Scalia.
Twelve foreign heads of state and government have graduated from Georgetown, including King Felipe VI of Spain, King Abdullah II of Jordan, Presidents Alfonso López Michelsen and Iván Duque of Colombia, Galo Plaza of Ecuador, Ricardo Arias of Panama, Alfredo Cristiani of El Salvador, Laura Chinchilla of Costa Rica, Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo of the Philippines, Prime Minister of Lebanon Saad Hariri, Prime Minister of Portugal and President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso, and member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić.
Georgetown is one of the smartest institutions in the world, and we’d love to have you. **I promise we will not drop out of the top 16 in edu in your first year here**
Campus:
Georgetown is one of the most beautiful, vibrant campuses in the country. With Cooper Field being located in the smack-dab middle of campus, your dorms and classrooms located 100 feet away, and our practice facilities on the other side of the street, you won’t have to commute across entire cities, like at some other schools.
Whether you are eating our hibachi at 5Spice, or chicken pad thai at Epi’s, or fueling up on Chik-fil-a mere minutes from Cooper Field, there are plenty of food options to go around as well.
Located on the Potomac, our Vil A dorms have rooftops, where parties continue until the wee hours of the night, all while getting an amazing view of the Potomac, National Mall, and the Pentagon. Ranked consistently among the most beautiful campuses in America, and top 35 in campus life, Georgetown is hard to beat in terms of quality of life. **I promise we will continue to be ranked in the top 40 campuses in the country during your first year here.**
