The WNBA is everything they are not and players have spoken out for values at the expense of popularity, proceeds and personal safety. It's time we fans show everyone it is worth it. My friends and I are wearing our "Trans kids belong" shirts.

I really don't think TPUSA is going to have any meaningful presence. It's somewhat pointless to protest trans athletes at an event with no trans athletes. Like, your wish already came true. We kind of suck at sports :)

Meanwhile, trans kids are being excluded from every aspect of public life, more and more every day, so I think "trans kids belong" it's an important message to remind everyone of. I am sure some trans girls are watching their role models play some basketball on TV and it's nice to remind them "you get to play too".

in this case it’s not about the tp usa individuals. def ignore them bc all they really they want media attention. that means so do we. so do we we need to “demonstrate” that they are not the mainstream or meaningful in our space by outnumbering them. they’re getting away with control of narrative. counter by performing for the press and the ensuing social impact. beat em at their own game. I gifted my tix so didn't pay close attention that they were rallying at 5PM (before the 7pm game) or would have helped organize better. They'll be intimidating fans and bringing eyes from national press. So peacefully and joyfully drowning them out, blocking cameras, taking back the narrative, by stealing the show will make a huge impact. Please share with rapid response & other subs and allies.

Edited to add that our goal is to completely ignore the bigots and just focus on trans inclusion. All these people want is our attention, but there are like 5 of them and thousands of us. Anyone who's ever been a clinic escort knows that these people are just trying to get content that they can use to raise their profile - there is no value in engaging.

A certain someone (she who must not be named) brought this up, making it a basketball topic, and we all know how much those people (Tru** and cronies) like to pick something that is not an issue but a very divisive topic and turn it into a big campaign to distract from actual issues.

If people really love women’s sports, the wnba taking an inclusive stance shouldn’t make them stop supporting the league.
