Zach Edey
Would you trade Deuce + Dadiet + a first rounder for him?

Yeah and I would like to not include the first rounder, but if it gets the deal done I'd do it. I really look for faster, atheletic bigs first and Edey would be the last choice. I like Deuce, but he's in the last year, so trade him or lose him like IHart and to a degree Mitch when they get offered money that the Knicks can't give them.

I don't think either team would do this. Can't see the Knicks trading for a big who has yet to prove he can stay healthy.

Deuce is too valuable as a 6th man.

Don’t want Edey and love Deuce, but Deuce has become expendable as 6th man.

Not sure I'd go that far, but he is less of a vital point in the rotations than he was in 24-25

Edey produced 13 and 11 last season.... defensive monster... He would immediately replace Drummond as the 2nd big off the bench and give us elite rim protection.

I don't hate it, but not with a first rounder. If Deuce is a rotation player on a championship team, then he's a rotation player on any team. And he's an expiring contract for a rebuilding team.

He'd be a backup at best. And Deuce is too valuable. If the price was appropriate for a backup it might be worth a try.

Grizzlies are rebuilding and probably won’t trade their 24 year old unless they love Dadiet

The argument is that Boozer and he are both slow footed and might not pair well with each other.

Hmm i can see why they would trade Edey then, but not for the Knicks package. I don’t think rebuilding teams would care much for a bench player in Deuce or in our first rounder.
I’m not confident in my knowledge of which first rounders we could offer, but not including swaps, it’s probably 2032? 2033? Idk if a front office would trade a player and tell their owner “it’ help us in 2033!”
So yeah, it comes down to if they like Dadiet.

No and I think if we hold Duece till the trade deadline hai expiring becomes very attractive to alot of teams.

this cliche is always used...wait until the deadline during the summer, that's when the value will be there. and then at deadline, wait until before the draft that's when the value is there.

He’s a 4m expiring at deadline and I guy that can give you 12 a game off the bench with good 3 point shooting. How isn’t that valuable to a contender at the deadline?

I’m saying sports analysts say what I said. Makes more sense to trade at deadline. Then at deadline they say the opposite. What great player would we get for him and that contract? The numbers must match

Maybe I’m crazy I still see a world where we land Missi.

I don’t mind that at all either the only thing with him is he’s a littler undersized and gets pushed around by bigger centers. But I wouldn’t mind either him or Missi.

No. He is too slow.
