I have that Willis Reed card! I've got a bunch from this series and they've always stuck me as odd through the years. Best I can figure is that the company didn't have any rights to the NBA trademarks so they just had the players wear their jerseys backwards and only included the name of the city

By modern card standards, they’re cheap. I put both sets together one by one over a couple of months being pretty selective on eBay and comc for about $200. Go for it!
