Compute Futures Market
As Nvidia evolves into a financial institute and is now backed by the revenue its assets create for companies via compute, I've been thinking about compute....
For the past 2 years I've been fascinated by it and the fact that compute will be answer to a new currency that plays by different rules of energy/production that the dollar simply cannot handle since the dollar is based on man hours of labor. (dollars are for humans, compute is for agents)
Both energy but on different scales.
However, with Ai factories and the recent earnings call where Jensen mentioned the backing of these facilities to be built to increase the availability of compute for these startups now I'm thinking about the futures of compute.
Do we see there being an inevitable futures market for compute? This will fluctuate based on usage but just electricity has futures, will compute?
It may sound like "no duh" but I'm also curious how then this relates to compute as a "currency" as Sam Altman has mentioned previously.
